Cornerstone

DAY 16

In days past, it was customary and very necessary to lay the cornerstone for a building, which all other stones are put in reference to the cornerstone. In modern days, this became an information stone, listing the creators, or builder or designers, or other info. As a Christian, we also have a cornerstone. This one cornerstone is the very foundation of all of our faith, our family we joined when we believe in Jesus Christ. He accepted us into His family and the Household of God. He is our Chief Cornerstone.

Scripture for Today

 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,  in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,  in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
