DAY 26

In the wilderness, for 40 years walked the Israelites. 40 days did our Saviour spend in the wilderness as well. King David reigned over Israel for 40 years. There are those around you who have worked at the same job for 40 or more years. My father worked in the same job for over 40 years but still went to work everyday to do the best job he could. Perserverance is doing something day in and day out, perservering to the end. This can be a long journey, a tiring life style but we must persevere to see God's work done in us and those around us, in church, in school, in family, in life. Praise can be like that too, but you must go on. Do you think Billy Graham would have quit after his first tent revival, or his fifth or even his second to last? No he kept on going to the very end, and even after he stopped having tent revivals, he counseled Kings, Queens, Leaders and Presidents, and even still he kept on, to the very end. So must we continue til the very end, to See God's Glory.
