Yes I Will

DAY 35

We serve a Mighty God who has all things under His control. This world wants you to think things just happen, that there is no rhyme nor reason to why things happen, but God know exactly why things happen. He knows the desires of our hearts and lets people do their own freewill, whether it is for good or evil. Many times God was displeased with Israel and His people grumbling, being non-repentent, and continually sinning and worshipping false idols. And time and again, He corrected them, or even turned them over to ungodly rulers and men. When they turned from their evil ways, and called on God to help them, He was there. And He will be there for you too. He is a good and loving Father who cares very deeply for His children. But make no mistake, He disciplines as well, to correct us in our ways. Its up to us though to recognize this and turn on our own, and if we do, He is there to accept us back into the family. Will you turn away from worldly things and turn to God today? 

Scripture for Today

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
