Joy in the Morning

DAY 34

I am sure sometime in your life you have heard the old saying, wait until tomorrow, it will be better. But tell that to Paul and Silas when they were arrested and put in prison. To them, their hope seem to be failing, but what did they do? At midnight, they decided to give the devil insomnia, they couldn't sleep so they made sure the devil couldn't either and they started praising God. And you know what happened next, God sent his angel, the ground shook and ALL the gates of the prison fell down. Read all of Acts 16:16-40 NIV to really enjoy this but let me reveal a few tidbits. The devil made one big mistake, he put BOTH of them in prison together, and you know what that means, when two or more are gathered in HIS name, He is There! Second, they began praising God and singing and EVERYONE'S chains were broken. Say EVERYONE! Then even the jailor's believed and were saved, and their families too, and they were baptized that night. Joy came early that morning. This Joy is free for all, if you just believe in Jesus, confess your sins and be baptized. Joy really does come in the morning.
