Battle Belongs

DAY 36

When we play sports at school, we usually follow the lead of a coach. In the military during a battle, you follow a commanding officer or General. At a job site, we tend to not fight any battles at work since it could cost you your job, or clientele or customers. But so many still play by their own rules and cause strife or fight battles with people not caring about the outcome. As a Christian, we have to follow God's Word and the Bible tells us many things about this. For instance In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry Ephesians 4:26. Its okay to have a righteous anger, but the Bible is clear, do NOT sin, Jesus even goes further and says do not cause others to sin either. So how do we fight our battles then? We pray and turn it over to God. Jesus says if someone strikes your cheek, give them the other cheek too. In other words, and this is hard, evil begets evil, and we are to return evil with good. Blessed are those who are persecuted for my sake says the Lord.
