Praise and Glory to Our Father in Heaven, and Glory to the King of Kings! Its been 40 days and 40 nights, 40 days of Praise, and 40 days of Worship. But don't let it stop here. Start reading in the Bible to see how many times God uses 40. Jesus is tempted in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. A normal pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks. 40 is mentioned in the Bible 146 times. The Bible was written by 40 different people. God caused the Great Flood to last 40 days and 40 nights. Jesus predicted the destruction of Jerusalem before he was crucified and 40 years later, Jerusalem was destroyed. Lent lasts for 40 days, 40 days of fasting, prayer, and giving to the poor leading up to the Resurrection of Jesus. And Jesus was on this earth for 40 days AFTER His resurrection before ascending up to Heaven to be at the right hand of God.
