Witness

DAY 21

The word Witness causes many to cringe or run away in fear. Standing before a total stranger and trying to be a witness to someone and tell them about Jesus is hard. But your life is a witness as well. The Bible teaches many times about being a witness, as in being a witness to a transaction, being a witness in a court, or before the leaders. There is also being in a "witness" where two or more are gathered. Jesus had many witnesses that saw his great miracles, just as many witnesses saw him after he was resurrected from the dead. Many more witnesses even saw when he ascended up to Heaven. What about simply people being a witness to Your life changes, because once you turn from sin and start following after Jesus, your life becomes a witness of God's goodness in your life and people will be drawn to that. Then it becomes easy to simply talk about how God has helped you, and you have witnessed to another. That's all there is to being a Witness. We do it everyday whether you realize it or not. Have you been a good Witness today?
